Vehicle does had a hard time starting and now does not start. Research indicates this is a known problem on this vehicle but my vehicle doesn’t seem to be included in the recall The main recall for the Lexus RC200t is due to a failing low-pressure fuel pump, which can cause the engine to stall while driving.

I have a Lexus rcf 2017. There’s a safety recall for a low pressure fuel pump. This recall has come out years later after the car has been bought. I am the 3rd owner. I bought the car in 2026. I bought the car with aftermarket work done on it, but I didn’t think there would be any recalls. The LPFP has wires hooked up to another fuel pump in the trunk for handling performance. With that said, Lexus didn’t want to do the recall. I asked all 3 numbers I called if I can just be given the part, and I sign a waiver that I get a 1 time item and Lexus…
