TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 LEXUS LS 460. WHILE PULLING INTO THE GARAGE AT APPROXIMATELY 0- 3 MPH, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED AND THE STEERING WHEEL SEIZED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL, WHICH TRAVELED DOWN TO THE FLOORBOARD AND FAILED TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE REAR OF THE LEFT FRONT TIRE OF ANOTHER VEHICLE PUSHING INTO THE GARAGE WALL. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. 3 SETS OF BRAKES AND 3 OTHER BRAKE REPAIRS IN 24,000 MILES, BEGINNING WITHIN 3 MONTHS OF OWNERSHIP. LEXUS SAYS THAT THIS IS A "NORMAL OPERATING CHARACTERISTIC OF THE VEHICLE" AFTER WE ASKED THEM TO FIX THEM, AND WENT THROUGH THEIR LEMON LAW PROCESS. BRAKES EITHER SQUEAL LOUDLY OR GRAB TIGHT AND SHUDDER.
