Owner report 10457195 · 2012-05-02 (May 2, 2012)
BRAKING, AT TIMES, IS IRREGULAR, DURING NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS. FEELS AS IF THE BRAKING SYSTEM IS MISREADING DATA. TOOK CAR TO LEXUS DEALER ABOUT 2-2.5 MONTHS AGO AND TOLD ROTORS WERE A BIT WARPED. DEALER TURNED ROTORS AND SAID EVERYTHING SHOULD BE FINE. PROBLEM DID NOT FULLY RESOLVE. ABOUT A WEEK AGO, NOTICED SAME ISSUES AND RETURNED TO DEALER WHO INFORMED ME THAT THE ROTORS NEEDED TURNING AGAIN AND THAT THEY COULD SEE A DEPRESSION ON ONE ROTOR MADE FROM THE BRAKE PAD. I WAS INFORMED THAT THE ROTORS CAN GET HOT IN TRAFFIC AND I LIKE…

Owner report 11154103 · 2018-11-26 (November 26, 2018)
THE VEHICLE ALMOST CAUSED MY ELDERLY PARENTS TO GET INTO AN ACCIDENT. THE POWER TO THE VEHICLE IS LOST. THE GAS PEDAL WOULD NOT ACCELERATE AND THE STEERING WHEEL PULLED THE VEHICLE TO ONE DIRECTION. THE CAR WAS IN MOTION WHEN THE LIGHT CAME ON "CHECK VSC" SYSTEM. LEXUS HAS HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE FUEL INJECTORS AND SENSORS BEFORE ON THESE VEHICLES. ON OURS A RECALL WAS SAID TO BE NEEDED FOR THE SENSOR BUT INSTEAD THE SENSOR WAS JUST WIPED AND CLEANED AND A COVER ON IT WAS CHANGED. CURRENTLY VEHICLE DOES NOT MOVE MORE THEN 3MPH AND OCCASIONALLY V…
