TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 LEXUS IS200T. WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED, THE CONTACT HEARD SQUEAKING SOUNDS FROM THE BRAKES WHEN THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THE DEALER STATED THAT IF THE BRAKES WERE REPLACED, IT WOULD NOT RESOLVE THE ISSUE DUE TO THE MATERIAL USED FOR THE BRAKE PADS ON THE 2016 LEXUS F-SPORT MODELS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 900.

BROUGHT A LEXUS IS200T IN MAY 2016 6 MONTHS INTO HAVING THE CAR THE AC AND AUDIO SYSTEM COMPLETELY WENT DEAD. TOOK IT TO THE DEALER THEY STATED I HAD PLACED A COIN IN THE RADIO HENCE THE SYSTEM SHUTTING DOWN I HAD TO PAY TO REPLACE EVERYTHING. THEN 2 MONTHS LATER THE AC WENT AGAIN. TOOK IT IN AT THE ONE YEAR MARK THE CAR NEEDS TYRES, BRAKES, TROTLE BODY, INJECTORS AND ENGINE FILTERS. The contact owns a 2016 Lexus IS200T. The contact stated while the vehicle was stationary, he noticed that the rear driver’s side speaker had water inside, causing an electrical short. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to a local dealer who stated that the failure was caused by the body shop. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 132,000.
