THE FRONT BRAKE HAVE BEEN MAKING A SQUIKY NOSE WHEN YOU PRESSED TO STOP THE CAR. I CALLED LEXUS FOR A POTENTIAL RECALL REGARDING THIS PROBLEM. LEXUS TALL ME IT WAS NOT ON RECALL FOR THIS ISSUE. FOR MONTHS WE KEPT TRYING TO FIND A SOLUTION FOR THIS PROBLEM WE COULDN'T UNTIL A WEEK AGO THE DEALER HAVE FINALLY ADMITED THAT THE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY/ ABS BRAKE MODULE HAVE FAILED AND THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED TO THIS COMPONENT OF THE VEHICLES AND ASK TO ME TO CALL LEXUS FOR A REMEDY.

CAR HAS BEEN SERVICED IN TWO LEXUS DELAERSHIPS IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS....CAR STARTED BLINKING THE STABILITY CONTROL LIGHTS AND STEERING STARTED INTERMITTNETLY WORKING AND THE BRAKES WERE AT 50%. I WAS ABLE TO THE STOP THE CAR AND SHUT IT DOWN WHEN I RESTARTED THE NO WARNING LIGHTS WERE ON. THE STEERING FEEL WAS BACK TO NORMAL AND SO WERE THE BRAKES. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 LEXUS GS 450 HYBRID. ON FEBRUARY 16, 2018, WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH, THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP AND THE VEHICLE COULD NOT BE RESTARTED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE "STEERING HYBRID SYSTEM DISENGAGED, PLEASE CHECK HYBRID SYSTEM" WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO LEXUS OF MANHATTAN (627 11TH AVE, NEW YORK, NY 10036 [phone removed]) WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT WIRES HAD BEEN EATEN BY RODENTS AND THAT THE WIRING TO THE HYBRID SYSTEM NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. The contact owns a 2008 Lexus GS 450 Hybrid. The contact stated that after his vehicle was rear-ended by another vehicle, the check engine light was illuminated and the vehicle was not able to start. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the failure was not related to the collision but that the hybrid transmission cooling pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired and remained at the dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 125,000.
