Owner report 10949973 · 2017-02-07 (February 7, 2017)

1) A LIGHT IN A DASHBOARD CAME ON SAYING "CHECK HYBRID SYSTEM", I TOOK IT TO THE LEXUS DEALER , THEY CHANGED THE NON HYBRID BATTERY), CHARGED ME $350 FOR IT AND RESET THE COMPUTER. 2) A WEEK AFTER, THE LIGHT STARTED APPEARING AGAIN WITH THE SAME MESSAGE, THE MESSAGE APPEARED IN THE MORNING, IN THE WAY BACK HOME, COMING OUT OF THE SPEEDWAY , ALL THE LIGHTS IN THE DASHBOARD CAME OFF (BRAKES, ENGINE, ALL OF THEM) AND I LOST COMPLETE CONTROL OF THE CAR: NO BRAKES, NO STEERING, NO NOTHING. I TRIED RESTARTING THE CAR AGAIN, IT DID, AND THE NEXT D…

Owner report 11084707 · 2018-04-12 (April 12, 2018)

PRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL WHEN GOING OVER A BUMP OR PATCHY ROAD THE CAR SEEMS TO LOSE CONTROL. IT FEELS LIKE THE BRAKE CALIPERS HAVE LET GO AND THE SENSATION OF A CAR LUNGING FORWARD WITH NO DRIVER CONTROL. I HAVE EXPERIENCED THIS WHEN TRAVELING UNDER 50MPH AND I'VE HAD TO HIT THE BRAKES IN AN ABRUPT FASHION. THIS HAS OCCURRED MULTIPLE TIMES IN THE PAST YEAR.

Owner report 10899409 · 2016-08-30 (August 30, 2016)

EACH TIME THE FOG LAMPS ARE USED, SEEMS THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM POPS THE FOG LAMP GLASS. THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES ON BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE. INCLUDING PIPING OF THE FACTORY FOG LAMPS THAT CAME ON THE VEHICLE AND THEN THE REPLACEMENTS. THE FOG LAMPS CANNOT BE USED WITHOUT POPPING.

Owner report 11179936 · 2019-02-13 (February 13, 2019)

THE STEERING WHEEL GETS STIFF, LOCKS EVENTUALLY AND THE CAR GOES DEAD WITHIN COUPLE OF MINUTES WHILE DRIVING. UPON 1ST DIAGNOSIS DEALER REPORTED THAT IT WAS DUE TO BAD BATTERY AND THEY REPLACED THE BATTERY. BUT THE SAME PROBLEM HAS REPEATED 3 TIMES NOW WITHIN A SPAN OF 2 MONTHS. DEALER IS NOT ABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM WHEREAS THE SAME ISSUE OCCURS EVERY TIME. THIS IS LIFE THREATENING AS THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKS WHILE DRIVING. I HAVE BEEN STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF A STREET AND MAJOR CROSS JUNCTIONS.

Owner report 11019923 · 2017-08-27 (August 27, 2017)

BOTH HEADLAMPS WENT OUT WITH 1 WEEK OF EACH OTHER. REPLACED WITH SYLVANIA H11 XENON BULBS AS RECOMMENDED BY AUTOZONE WEBSITE AS COMPATIBLE. INSTALLED BOTH LIGHTS, VERIFIED THEY WORKED, DROVE APPROXIMATELY .5 MILES TO STOP FOR LUNCH. TURNED OFF CAR AND ENTERED RESTAURANT. APPROXIMATELY 5 MINUTES LATER, SOMEONE YELLED A CARS ON FIRE. FRONT OF MY CAR WAS ENGULFED IN FLAMES. FIRE DEPARTMENT SAWED HOOD OFF AND DISTINGUISHED FLAMES. CAR WAS A TOTAL LOSS. LEXUS DEALER SERVICE REP SCOLDED ME THAT I SHOULD NEVER UT AFTER MARKET BULBS IN THEIR CAR…
