FUEL FILTERS CLOG SUDDENLY AND WITH VERY SHORT MILEAGE TIME FRAME. WHEN CLOGGED THEY CAUSE FUEL PUMP CAVITATION THAT PUTS AIR IN FUEL LINE. AIR IN FUEL LINE CAUSES ENGINE TO PERFORM ERRATICALLY AND LOSS OF POWER/SUDDEN POWER SURGE. WHEN THIS HAPPENS ON FREEWAY/TRAFFIC IT CAN CAUSE A LOSS OF CONTROL, OR A SUDDEN DECREASE IN SPEED THAT CAN LEAD TO MOTORCYCLE BEING HIT/RUN OVER BY OTHER TRAFFIC. KTM HAS NO RECOMMENDATION ON WHEN FUEL FILTERS SHOULD BE REPLACED. THEY HAVE ALSO INCREASED THE PRICE OF THE FUEL FILTERS FROM $60 TO OVER $150 IN TH…
