The contact owns a 2021 KTM 890 Duke. The contact stated that while attempting to use the front brakes while riding at various speeds, the rear brake light failed to illuminate as intended. No warning lights were illuminated. In addition, the contact stated that other drivers had mentioned that the rear brake lights were not illuminated while riding and attempting to stop. Brake light will not illuminate unless full brake pressure is applied. Incident 1 - This happened 2 separate times. Once 9/2023 at 2765 miles and again 5/2026 at 20,505 miles. My cruise control would turn on but not engage. Upon investigation I discovered the brake light was not illuminating unless full brake pressure was applied. My KTM dealership diagnosed and replaced the brake light switch both times.
