IT HAS DONE IT ON MANY OCCASIONS, WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD, STOPPED AT STOP SIGNS AND STOP LIGHTS, DROPPING MY SON OFF AT SCHOOL,PULLING OUT OF THE STORE, ECT. I NEVER KNOW WHEN IT IS GOING TO HAPPEN. IT HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP MANY TIMES BUT THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE FOUND WRONG. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OR ANYTHING. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V051000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was not contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and informed the contact that the remedy was not yet available. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

SHORTLY AFTER I TOOK POSSESSION OF THIS VEHICLE, ON 3-15-14, I BEGAN TO NOTICE THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS INTERMITTENTLY FLASHING ON THE DASH PANEL AND THE VEHICLE BEGAN PULLING TO THE RIGHT. WHILE DRIVING MY LEASED 2014 KIA SPORTAGE, THERE WAS NONSTOP CONTINUOUS HESITATION "BUCKING", WITH WHITE SMOKE BLOWING OUT OF THE TAILPIPE, LOSS OF SPEED THEREFORE HAVING TO PRESS HARD ON GAS PEDAL TO AVOID ACCIDENT BY TRYING PULL OFF ROAD. WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, CAR BEGAN TO LOSE POWER AND THEN STARTED CUTTING OUT. I PULLED OVER ON HIGHWAY SHOULDER. CAR WAS PUTTING. I TURNED CAR OFF AND IT WOULD NOT RESTART. I REPLACED BATTERY AND IT STILL WOULD NOT RESTART.

My vehicle stalled (104000mi) bought in 2024 looked up online was known between 2023-2024 engine recall I wasn't told or shown on Car Fax anything about this So [XXX] worked on engine 2.
