On 2025-11-12, my car got BMS error P1B9700. On 2025-11-13, I took the car to local Kia dealer. The error is for battery temperature sensor. After 1 week, thst sensor have not been replaced nor any other numerous minor electrical defects were fixed. My car was just parked in dealer lot the whole time. No communication from Kia or dealer how to fix this potentionly dangerous battery problem.

Owner report 11703422 · 2025-12-06 (December 6, 2025)
Driving down local (residential) roads, the ICCU died; towed to dealership 12/3/2025. All 12 volt electrical was inoperable. So no hazard lights, no shift to neutral, no locking the doors. It was towed to the dealer. ICCU is now being ordered. The Master Warning light and 12V battery warning light illuminated. I was fortunate to be able to park in a parking lot just before all electrical died. An Internet search shows that this is a known issue; and, even after the replacement the situation can happen again. Took delivery 6/28/25. So, not ev…

The vehicle would not go above 26MPH and had to be stopped in a parking lot to be towed to the dealership. Owner report 11725105 · 2026-03-17 (March 17, 2026)
The ICCU unit failed and the car first slowed and then stopped. I was able to pull off the road at an intersection. A tow truck had to jump charge the battery to allow the car to be shifted into neutral in order to pull it onto the tow truck.

Owner report 11708370 · 2026-01-02 (January 2, 2026)
Erratic behavior before pulling out of parking lot: STOP vehicle check power, check 12V battery Stop safely engage parking brake. All dash lights started flashing, going black, power couldn’t be maintained, thankfully not on highway yet. Complete car failure, had to have 2025 EV6 jumped 4 times, battery still showed 41% charged, couldn’t keep charge to even get car in neutral for tow or doors locked. After each jump from tow company, power would last for less than 3-5 seconds, then dead, completely dead vehicle nothing worked.

Owner report 11739429 · 2026-05-22 (May 22, 2026)
While driving car began to decelerate and the dash lit up with a number of ABS/Brake system failure symbols. I was on the highway traveling at abt 70 mph when the issue happened. Got car to coast off hwy onto an upward sloping exit. Stopped at a light. Turned off and back on and was able to gain minor speed got approx three blocks to a gas station. Pulled off and tried restarts. The screen stated there was an update pending, but it could not complete it because the Electronic Brake System failed. I tried triggering a brake reset but it didn…

Owner report 11707594 · 2025-12-29 (December 29, 2025)
I was driving on the highway when I heard a pop like a loud fuse sound from the back seat area. Suddenly the car dropped 15 mph from 70 mph to 55 mph and the battery and electrical system warning lights came on and the vehicle said check electrical system. I was able to continue with my hazard lights on to exit the highway, at which point the max speed of the vehicle dropped to 45 mph. It would not go faster no matter how hard I pushed the gas pedal. I was able to pull over to a gas station and park in a spot but the vehicle had to be towed. Wh…
