TWO TIRE FAILURES WITHIN 100 MILES, ONE ON EACH SIDE OF TRAVEL TRAILER. TIRES WERE ABOUT A YEAR OLD AND HAD WELL UNDER 5,000 MILES. TIRES WERE INFLATED TO MAX RECOMMENDED PSI AND TIRES/HUBS WERE INSPECTED A FEW HOURS BEFORE THE INCIDENTS OCCURRED. TRAILER WEIGHT WAS WELL UNDER MAX WEIGHT ALLOWED AND WELL WITHIN THE RATINGS OF THE TIRES. EACH FAILURE OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING 60MPH ON HIGHWAY. TREAD SUDDENLY SEPARATED. TREAD SLAPPED UNDERSIDE AND SIDE OF TRAILER, RIPPING OUT PLYWOOD, INSULATION, SKIRTING, RUBBER SEALS, WIRING, ETC. SEVER…
