TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 KAWASAKI EX250. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MOUNTING SCREW PUNCTURED THE LEFT SIDE OF THE FUEL TANK. UPON INVESTIGATION, THE CONTACT LINKED THE FAILURE TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 07V003000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED HIM THAT THE MOTORCYCLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE CONTACT WAS REFERRED TO NHTSA FOR ASSISTANCE. THE MOTORCYCLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,161.*DT*JB
