THE BATTERY WENT DEAD. CONSUMER HAD TO JUMP THE VEHICLE. THE CABLES GOT CROSSED, CAUSING A SHORT WHICH LED TO A FIRE. THE ECM CHIP BURNED COMPLETELY. TOOK VEHICLE TO A MECHANIC, AND WAS TOLD THE ECM CHIP SHOULD HAVE NEVER BURNED. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A PROTECTIVE COVER. CONTACTED CHRYSLER, WHO WILL DO NOTHING ASSIST THE CONSUMER. *AK

WHILE PARKED IN THE GARAGE VEHICLE LEAKED POWER STEERING FLUID. CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, AND DURING INSPECTION, IT WAS DISCOVERED THE FRAME HAD TOW HOLES SO LARGE THAT HIS HAND GOES THROUGH THEM. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 1995 JEEP WRANGLER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE STEERING FAILED AND THE VEHICLE HAD NO STEERING CONTROL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL MECHANIC. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE GEAR BOX FOR THE STEERING WHEEL WAS RUSTED NEAR ITS BOLTS AND BROKEN INTO PIECES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 110,000.
