While driving my kids home from the school the vehicle stark jerking and kicking in the back while I was accelerating. Then the vehicle stopped shifting gears. I pulled to the side of the road turned off the car, turned it back on and it worked fine. I have this incident twice in two years. Secondly the paddle shift gear showed as disabled when I want to use manual gear. Checked the dashboard and there is no option saying enabled or disable peddle Shift gear. While driving at 60mph, the vehicle became unresponsive and electronically shifted into park unexpectedly. No warning lights were present, and the dealership's service department could not replicate the issue.

Presented as camshaft position sensor with loss of power, poor acceleration and general misfires. After many weeks of diagnostic and repairs, turns out to be a problem with the camshaft intake. Specifically the entire cam kit. Appeared 1 week after purchase as a check engine light. This problem had been confirmed by the chrysler dealership where I bought the car and sent it for diagnostic. The vehicle has twice gotten stuck in third gear. While driving, as it's shifting from third to fourth, will get stuck in third and clunk, and then rev. The engine light will come on, and it forces you to pull over. The manual shifters do not work either. You have to pull over, shut the car down, and restart. The engine light comes on but no errors are logged, and the engine light clears itself a few restarts later. 3 DAYS AFTER PURCHASING MY USED VEHICLE THE "SERVICE TRANSMISSION" LIGHT TURNED ON FOR A FEW SECONDS. A FEW WEEKS LATER I NOTICED THAT THERE WAS A DELAY IN GEARS SHIFTING LIKE HARSH SHIFTING. I TOOK IT TO A JEEP DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT BECAUSE WHEN HOOKED UP TO THE COMPUTER IT WAS NOT THROWING A CODE.
