WE OWN A 1996 JAYCO EAGLE 244SL TRAVEL TRAILER. ON THE FRONT OF THE TRAILER IS A STORAGE AREA WHICH IS MADE OF ABS PLASTIC. LAST YEAR, WE DEVELOPED A CRACK IN THE LID FOR THE STORAGE AREA WHICH IS ALSO MADE OF ABS PLASTIC AND A CRACK IN THE ABS PLASTIC WHCIH FORMS THE STORAGE AREA. ALL THE CRACKS ARE DEVELOPING FROM EITHER WHERE A POP RIVET OR A SCREW WAS PLACED IN THE ABS PLASTIC. THE CRACKS APPEAR TO BE SOME KIND OF STRESS CRACK WHICH IS CAUSED BY THE IMPOPERR DESIGN AND INSTALLATION OF THE STORAGE AREA. OVER THIS PAST WINTER, ANOTHER CR…
