THIS UNIT IS EQUIPPED WITH DEXTER AXLES AND IS A NEW UNIT. IT WAS DETERMINED THIS WEEK AFTER 2 ATTEMPTS OF REPORTING INCIDENTS TO LOCAL RV DEALERSHIP THAT ALL FOUR GREASE SEALS FAILED CAUSING LOSS OF BRAKES. FIRST INCIDENT OCCURRED ON NYS THRUWAY TRAVELING @ 60 MPH DURING SUMMER OF 2011. A SUDDEN STOP WAS NEEDED AND THERE WAS NO BRAKING FROM THE TRAILER. TOW VEHICLE IS A 08 CHEVY 2500HD. I WAS ABLE TO AVOID COLLISION WITH NUMEROUS OTHER VEHICLES STOPPED ON THRUWAY DUE TO SHOULDER LANE AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE, THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN A COLLISIO…
