TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 JAYCO DESIGNER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE IOTA TRANSFER SWITCH BURNED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DISCONNECT THE SWITCH BEFORE IT BURNED DOWN, BUT THE CONTACT DID LOOSE ALL POWER IN THE TRAILER. THE CONTACT SPOKE TO THE MANUFACTURER REGARDING NHTSA RECALL CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER:12V347000(ELECTRICAL SYSTEM), BUT WAS TOLD THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED. THE FAILURE AND THE CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 300. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 JAYCO DESIGNER. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY, THE CONTACT STARTED TO SMELL THE BURNING OF PLASTIC. THE CONTACT OPENED THE BOTTOM STORAGE CAPSULE AND NOTICED THAT THE ELECTRICAL TRANSFER SWITCH WAS MELTED. THE CONTACT STATED NO WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER OR AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO HAVE IT DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED.
