Owner report 11104745 ยท 2018-06-29 (June 29, 2018)

VEHICLE BREAKING SYSTEM CAUGHT FIRE DURING TOWING CAUSING FLAMES AND SMOKE TO ERUPT FROM BOTH UNDERCARAGE TIRE SIDES MELTING THE BREAK WIRES, WHILE THE BREAKAWAY SYSTEM WAS ATTACHED IT WAS MELTED AND THE BATTERY CONTINUED TO FEED THE FLAMES VIA WIRING SYSTEM. THIS IS CURRENTLY UNDER INVESTIGATION HOWEVER I AM BEING TOLD THE AXEL, DRUMS, BEARINGS, BREAKS, AND SPINDLES WERE ALL BAD AND REQUIRE REPLACEMENT. THIS IS A BRAND NEW TRAVEL TRAILER AND THIS WAS 15 MINUTES INTO OUR VERY FIRST TRIP WITH THE TRAILER AFTER DEALER DELIVERY. *TT
