THIS IS A SIMILAR AIRBAG SAFETY ISSUE AS OCCURRED IN A PRIOR RECALL ON LAND ROVER (RECALL #P045). THE WIRING THAT CONNECTS THE CLOCK SPRING ROTARY COUPLER TO THE DRIVER'S AIR BAG MODULE FRACTURES AS A RESULT OF RELATIVE MOTION BETWEEN THE ROTARY COUPLER AND THE STEERING WHEEL HUB. THE RELATIVE MOTION OF THE STEERING WHEEL CREATED INTERNAL FRICTION WITHIN THE ROTARY COUPLER ASSEMBLY AND/OR FRICTION CAUSED BY CONTACT OF THE STEERING COLUMN COWL AGAINST THE ROTARY COUPLER.
