Owner report 10325405 · 2010-04-13 (April 13, 2010)

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 ISUZU I-290. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE IDLED EXCESSIVELY 'ROUGH' AND AT TIMES, WOULD STALL WHEN PARKED OR SITTING AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP FOR A DIAGNOSTIC TEST BUT THE DEALER COULD NOT LOCATE A PROBLEM. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 300. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 45,341.

Owner report 10457168 · 2012-05-02 (May 2, 2012)

I TOOK MY 2007 ISUZU I-290 TRUCK INTO DEALER BACK IN DEC. OF 2010 BECAUSE THE REDUCE POWER LIGHT CAME ON AND WAS ONLY ABLE TO DRIVE ABOUT 15 MILES/HR. WHILE DRIVING OR IDLING THE ENGINE WOULD JUST KILL. STILL UNDER WARRANTY WITH APPROX 68,000 MILES, I TOOK IT INTO THE DEALER FOR REPAIRS, ALL THEY DID WAS CHANGE THE CAMSHAFT ACTUATOR. 5 MONTHS LATER, I STARTED EXPERIENCING THE SAME ISSUES. DIAGNOSTIC READINGS CAME BACK THAT SENSORS NEEDED CHANGING. I REPLACED BOTH SENSORS BUT IT DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM AND EVENTUALLY THE ENGINE KILLED AND WO…

Owner report 10680776 · 2015-02-03 (February 3, 2015)

DRIVERS SIDE DOOR POWER WINDOW AND POWER LOCK SWITCH IS WORKING INTERMITTENTLY AND VEHICLE HAS A SLOW BATTERY DRAIN REQUIRING A JUMP START IF IT SITS FOR LONGER THAN ONE DAY. EVEN ONE DAY IS QUESTIONABLE FOR STARTING WITHOUT A JUMP. DOOR IS VERY WARM AROUND THE AREA OF THE FOR SWITCH MODULE, INDICATING A SHORT OR OTHER ELECTRICAL MALFUNCTION. GM HAS ALREADY RECALLED THE SUVS (CHEVY TRAILBLAZER, GMC ENVOY, ISUZU ASCENDER) BASED UPON THIS PLATFORM FOR FAULTY DRIVER'S DOOR SWITCH MALFUNCTIONS THAT PRESENTED WITH SAME INTERMITTENT FUNCTION AND INTE…

Owner report 11231443 · 2019-07-12 (July 12, 2019)

THIS TRUCK HAS DEVELOPED AN INTERMITTEN STARTING PROBLEM. AMBIENT TEMPERTURE SEEMS TO HAVE SOME BEARING ON THE FREQUENCY OF THE OCCURANCE, FOR EXAMPLE WHEN I VISITED COLORODO HAVING MUCH LOWER TEMPERATURE THAN IN SOUTH TEXAS, I HAD ZERO OCCURANCES AND WHEN I RETURNED TO HIGH 80 PLUS TEMPURATURES THE PROBLEM HAS BECOME A DAILY IF NOT EVERY RESTART INCONVIENCE. HAVING TO WAIT FROM 10 TO 20 MINS. BEFOR TRYING TO RESTART THE ENGINE. ONCE STARTED IT RUNS LIKE A TOP EVEN RESTARTING IMMEDIATELY AFTER ACCIDENTAL CLUTCH DUMP STALL ISSUES. GOING TO THE…
