The contact was the operator of a 2025 International LT62F company vehicle. The contact stated that on several occasions while driving with another truck in front of the vehicle that was attempting to slow down from at least 200 feet away, the automatic braking system erroneously activated, causing a false positive reaction with the brakes warning system detecting a possible crash with a brick wall, causing the Autonomous Braking and Lane Assist system to slam on the brakes of the tractor and the trailer.
