THE ABS LIGHT ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TAKEN TO DEALER 7 TIMES BUT THEY HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM. THE TRANSMITTER WAS REPLACED. THE DEALER BLAMED THE PROBLEM ON A WIRING HARNESS. THE WIRING HARNESS HAD NOT BEEN REPLACED. THE ABS LIGHT CAME BACK ON A WEEK AFTER THE COMPONENT WAS REPAIRED. *NM THERE WERE ALSO PROBLEM WITH THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM (WIPERS, HEATER MOTOR AND INSTRUMENT PANEL) *SC *JB

AFTER DRIVING 60 MPH IN THE RAIN, THE CONSUMER NOTICED THAT THE HOOD WAS FLAPPING UP AND DOWN. WHEN THE CONSUMER GOT HOME HE NOTICED THAT THE FENDER ON BOTH SIDES CRACKED AND BROKE. THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM INTERMITTENTLY FAILED, CAUSING THE MILEAGE TO ERASE. *AK *JB

NUMEROUS STALLING EVENTS HAVE BEEN OCCURRING ON THIS ROLLBACK IH4300. EVENTS OCCUR ON THE FREEWAY, FOUR-LANE DIVIDED HIGHWAYS, EXITING PARKING LOTS, AND PULLING INTO INTERSECTIONS. SOME EVENTS HAVE LEFT THE VEHICLE PARTIALLY ON THE ROADWAY OR IN AN INTERSECTION. SOME TIMES WARNING LIGHTS THAT DO NOT SEEM TO APPLY ARE ILLUMINATED. VEHICLE WILL OFTEN RESTART, SOMETIMES WITH LIMITED MOBILITY. SOME OF THESE EVENTS HAVE CAUSED THE DRIVERS TO BE CONCERNED FOR THEIR SAFETY AND THE SAFETY OF THE TRAFFIC AROUND THEM. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 INTERNATIONAL TOW TRUCK 4300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STEERING WAS HARD TO CONTROL, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO SWERVE AND VIBRATE EXCESSIVELY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES FOR THE FAILURE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. THE TRUCK WAS THEN TAKEN TO A LOCAL MECHANIC WHO PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC AND LOCATED THE FAILURE AT THE DIRECTIONAL BOX. THE TRUCK WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,450 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 150,000.
