Reported: 2021-06-24 (June 24, 2021) · Model years: 2017
Mickey Truck Bodies, Inc. (Mickey Truck) is recalling certain 2017 Freightliner M2, M2-106, International 4300, and 2018 Peterbilt 220 vehicles equipped with certain model lift gates that contain a license plate kit with part number 298872-01. The light kit does not properly illuminate the license plate, shining rearward, instead of downward as intended.
Consequence: The improper lighting may confuse other drivers on the road, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will provide a replacement license plate kit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on July 10, 2021. Owners may contact Mickey Truck customer service at 1-336-888-2291.

Reported: 2025-08-06 (August 6, 2025) · Model years: 2018
International Motors, LLC (International) is recalling certain 2018 International 4000 Series 4300, 2017-2025 MV, 2018-2024 1300 FBC, 2018-2025 IC Bus TC, and 2024-2025 IC Bus CECB vehicles. The brake pressure switch assembly may leak brake fluid into the brake pressure switch's electrical components and cause an electrical short-circuit.
Consequence: An electrical short in the brake pressure switch can overheat the circuit and increase the risk of a fire while driving or parked.
Remedy: Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will install a silicone black jumper harness, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 15, 2025. Owners may contact International customer service at 1-800-448-7825. International's number for this recall is 25509. Vehicles previously repaired under 23V397 will need to have the new remedy completed.
