DT*: THE CONTACT STATED THE HYDRAULIC BRAKE CALIPERS FAILED TO RELEASE. WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED IN THE FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS THE VEHICLE PULLED IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF THE WORKING CALIPER. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT WARNING EACH TIME. ALTHOUGH, THERE WAS SMOKE AND SPARKS PRESENT THERE WAS NO FIRE. THE LEFT FRONT CALIPER HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED, BUT THE OTHER THREE WERE REPLACED ON SEPARATE OCCASIONS. THE PROBLEM OCCURRED ON SIX OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY AT THE DEALERSHIP AWAITING FURTHER INVESTIGATION BY THE BRAKE MANUFAC…

THIS IS A TILT BED TOWING VEHICLE. PARKING BRAKE APPEARS INSUFFICIENT TO HOLD VEHICLE ON GRADE WHEN LOADED WITH TOWED VEHICLE. OPERATOR WAS RUN OVER WITH VEHICLE AFTER SETTING BRAKE AND SUFFERED SERIOUS BODILY INJURY.
