TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 INFINITI M35 HYBRID. WHILE IDLING AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE ONLY WAY TO RESTART THE VEHICLE WAS BY SHIFTING INTO PARK. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE INTELLIGENT POWER DISTRIBUTION MODULE (IPDM) NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 119,170.

IT ALL STARTED WITH A SMALL VIBRATION THAT FELT LIKE A WHEEL NEEDING BALANCING. THIS SYSTEM HAPPEN INTERMITTENTLY AND FOR SHORT DURATIONS OVER THE COURSE OF A COUPLE OF WEEKS. THEN THE VIBRATION STARTED TO HAPPEN MORE OFTEN, FOR LONGER PERIODS OF TIME AND WITH MORE INTENSITY SUCH TO BECOME A SHUTTERING THAT WAS COMING FROM THE FRONT OF THE CAR. WHEN THE SHUTTERING SUDDENLY BECAME VERY SEVERE, THE SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. AT THIS TIME I WAS DRIVING ON A BUSY HIGHWAY GOING APPROXIMATELY 45 TO 50 MPH. I MANAGED TO PULLED THE CAR TO THE …
