Owner report 10347799 · 2010-08-06 (August 6, 2010)

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 INFINITY G37. THE CONTACT WAS BRAKING FROM 25 MPH WHEN THE VEHICLE ABNORMALLY BEGAN TO SKID FORWARD. THERE WAS ALSO AN UNUSUAL GRINDING AND VIBRATION NOISE WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THAT THE FAILURE WAS NORMAL. THE MANUFACTURER ADVISED THE CONTACT THEY WOULD SPEAK WITH THE DEALER FIRST BEFORE A DECISION WAS MADE IF THEY WOULD BE WILING TO ASSIST. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 550.

Owner report 10376682 · 2011-01-14 (January 14, 2011)

I HAD AN HOUR DRIVE TO RETURN HOME. I HAD DRIVEN ABOUT 30 MIN WHEN I HAD TO SLOW DOWN FOR A TRAFFIC ACCIDENT. WHEN I TRIED TO GET BACK UP TO SPEED ON THE FREEWAY,, THE TRANSMISSION DISENGAGED. I HAD TO PUT IT INTO NEUTRAL AND THEN BACK INTO DRIVE TO RESUME DRIVING. THE TRANSMISSION CONTINUED TO DISENGAGE ABOUT EVERY 3 MINUTES ALL THE WAY HOME. I WAS NOT IN A GOOD AREA TO STOP, SO I CONTINUED PUTTING IT INTO NEUTRAL AND THEN BACK INTO DRIVE. WHEN I FINALLY ARRIVED AT A SAFE GAS STATION, I TURNED OFF THE IGNITION, WAITED ABOUT 5 MINUTES AND…

Owner report 10445793 · 2012-01-29 (January 29, 2012)

THE CAR HAS AN ERRATIC SHIFTING OF THE 7-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. IN HIGHWAY DRIVING AT LOWER SPEEDS BELOW 40 MPH DUE TO SLOW TRAFFIC, THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS ON OCCASION INTO A GEAR WHERE THE ENGINE RPM DROPS AND HOLDS AT 1000 - 1100. IF YOU ACCELERATE SLOWLY THE RPM'S REMAIN AT ABOUT 1000 UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY PUSH THE PEDAL ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FLOOR BOARD. AT THIS POINT IF YOU TRY TO ACCELERATE AND PICK UP SPEED THERE IS A GREAT HESITATION. I NOW HAVE 15,000 MILES ON THIS CAR AND THE DEALERSHIP HAS TOLD ME IN THE PAST THAT IT CAN …

Owner report 11550781 · 2023-10-19 (October 19, 2023)

(UNKNOWN)There is a major problem with the dashboard cracking and peeling. This has been going on for a while now and it just keep getting worse. I have checked on line and I see where this is not an isolated problem. I don't understand why infiniti has not done a major recall by now. (UNKNOWN )The second problem with the infiniti is the battery going down. I am not sure why or for what reason the battery keep going down even if you drive it. This is also a problem that has been going on and it is not an isolated problem either. I have to ke…
