AFTER DRIVING ABOUT 20 MINUTES, THE INTELLIGENT CRUISE CONTROL STARTS TO MALFUNCTION. IT FIRST WILL SHUT ITSELF OFF RANDOMLY. FROM THERE IT GETS WORSE, REACTIVATING THE CRUISE CONTROL CAUSES THE CAR TO SOMETIMES "SEE" CARS THAT ARE NOT THERE AND APPLIES BRAKES TO STOP THE VEHICLE ON THE FREEWAY, OR EVEN WORSE (AND MORE OFTEN) DOES NOT "SEE" CARS THAT ARE THERE AND CONTINUES TO DRIVE ON A COLLISION COURSE, UNTIL I'M JUST FEET FROM THE CARS BUMPER AND HIT THE BRAKES. THE RIGHT FRONT TIRE WOULD SEEM TO HAVE THE WOBBLY SOUND AND FEEL AFTER GOING 15 MILES AN HOUR. I BELIEVE THIS PROBLEM IS THE SAME RECALL OF 11/14/2003 AND NOW HAPPENING TO MY 2006 FX35 INFINITI SUV WHERE THE SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC FOUNDATION COMPONENT:DISC;CALIPER. THE FRONT BRAKE CALIPER MOUNTING BOLTS MAY NOT BE ADEQUATELY TIGHTENED, THIS COULD RESULT IN ONE OR BOTH OF THE CALIPER MOUNTING BOLTS LOOSENING. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 INFINITI FX35. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 20 MPH, THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY STALLED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE FAILURE WAS CAUSED BY DAMAGED COILS AND A FAULTY COMPUTER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. NO FURTHER INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 104,000.
