WHILE DRIVING CONSUMER APPLIED THE BRAKES AND PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR. CONSUMER WAS ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL, AND DROVE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT MASTER CYLINDER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. CONSUMER INFORMED THE MECHANIC THAT MASTER CYLINDER WAS REPLACED, BUT THE PROBLEM RECURRED. *AK

WHILE BACKING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED UNCONTROLLABLY. CONSUMER WAS NOT ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. PLACED FOOT ON THE BRAKE PEDAL BUT VEHICLE CONTINUED TO ACCELERATE INTO A POLE. THEN THE CONSUMER PUT THE SHIFTER INTO DRIVE TO MOVE FORWARD WHEN THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED FORWARD INTO A WALL. I WAS DRIVING MY HYUNDAI SONATA WITH MY SON IN THE CAR WHEN ALL OF SUDDEN THE CAR STARTED VEERING TO THE RIGHT AND THE STEERING WAS HARD. I TRIED TO TURN TO GET TO SIDE OF ROAD OUT OF TRAFFIC AND THE CAR MADE A LOUD NOISE AND STARTED SHAKING. I THOUGHT MY TIRE WAS FLAT I GOT OUT AND THE WHEEL WAS ON THE GROUND.I WAS PETRIFIED I'M STILL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET WITH CARS BLOWING. I CALLED ALLSTATE THEY TOWED TO NEAREST MECHANIC.
