While driving home from a trip , the car suddenly lost power . and engine light came on an then transmission light overheating light came on . I was near a town pulled over and had car towed to nearest Hyundai dealer. after waiting a week they finally looked at the vehicle, and said that mice had eaten the transmission electrical harness. Days later they repaired the damage, their was only 6000 miles on the car, but it was not covered under the warranty because mice had eaten the wirers. The contact owns a 2023 Hyundai Venue. The contact stated that the vehicle was slow to start. The contact was able to start the vehicle and drive. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact stated that rodents had entered the vehicle and chewed the wiring in the engine compartment. The vehicle was towed to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the wiring needed to be replaced. The dealer informed the contact that the replacement parts were on backorder.
