The contact's daughter owns a 2019 Hyundai Veloster N. The contact stated that the brake calipers were leaking brake fluid. There were no warning lights illuminated. The contact was able to obtain the parts from an independent parts supplier. The local dealer was contacted and confirmed that the caliper seals were ordered but were the incorrect part. The vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and opened a case. The approximate failure mileage was 114,000.

The contact owns a 2019 Hyundai Veloster N. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, the check the engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V258000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM); however, the remedy failed to repair the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 81,000.

while driving at approximately 45 miles per hour electronic power steering system failed and and it felt like the motor in the steering column was trying to pull the car hard right. the EPS warning light on the dash flashed red. Safely stopped the car on the shoulder of road. turned car on and off and resumed driving. problem repeated (this time with steering trying to lock at center) another 1/2 mile down the road. stopped again and pulled and reseated apparently undamaged fuse in under hood fuse box. restarted car and switched drive mode f…
