WE HAVE A SAFETY ISSUE WITH OUR 2006 HYUNDAI AZERA LIMITED. THE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG SYSTEM THAT FEATURES AN OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM OR OCS IS NOT WORKING. WE HAVE ADVISED OUR DEALERSHIP OF THE PROBLEM FOR ALMOST A YEAR AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THE SYSTEM WORKS AS DESIGNED. The vehicle has a random, chronic no start issue. Everything appears to be working normally, and you will turn the key with no crank. All the dashboard lights work, everything is as normal except it wont turn over. The dealer will not help. They refuse to even attempt replacing parts with my approval, just to try to rule things out. Due to my own investigation into the problem, we have successfully replaced the transmission inhibitor switch twice with good results. I PUSHED DOWN THE GAS TO TRY TO PASS SOMEONE AND THE TRANSMISSION WENT INTO NEUTRAL. I COULD NOT GET IT TO RE ENGAGE AND HAD TO COAST TO THE SIDE OF THE FREEWAY, ALMOST GETTING HIT BY THE DRIVER BEHIND ME. DEALER HAD THE CAR TWO DAYS AND SAID THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE AND REFUSED TO REPAIR EVEN THOUGH 100K WARRANTY IS IN EFFECT.THIS HAPPENED TWICE BEFORE IN 2010 AND 2011.
