THIS IS A NEW CAR AND THE INCIDENTS HAVE BEEN PRESENT FROM THE BEGINNING. ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS AT SLOW SPEED OR WHEN MOVING FROM BEING STOPPED, OR IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC, THE CAR WILL NOT RESPOND WHEN THE GAS PEDAL IS DEPRESSED. THE SENSATION IS THAT THE CAR HAS STALLED. AFTER A MOMENT, OR SEVERAL SECONDS, THE CAR WILL SURGE FORWARD, SOMETIMES CAUSING THE TIRES TO SCREECH. I IMMEDIATELY APPLY THE BRAKES TO BRING THE CAR UNDER CONTROL AND THE CAR WILL PROCEED WITHOUT FURTHER EVIDENCE OF A PROBLEM. IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC THIS EVENT MAY OCCUR…

BRAKES DID NOT WORK WHILE I WAS TRYING TO SLOW DOWN. AFTER GOT AN ACCIDENT I CHECKED MY CAR IN TOW YIELD THEY SAID THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH A FRONT TIRE AND THEY ALSO SAID IT IS 99% MANUFACTURER FAULT. ENGINE STALLS, INTERMITTENTLY WHEN TAKING FOOT OFF ACCELERATOR. TWICE WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 45 MPH, SEVERAL TIMES UNDER 25 MPH WHILE SLOWING DOWN FOR A TURN OR STOP SIGN. LOSES POWER STEERING AND POWER BRAKES. ON FRIDAY I CRANKED UP VEHICLE LEAVING WORK . PUT IN DRIVEN VEHICEL MADE SOUND AS IF TRANSMISSION JERKING. CONTINUED TO DRIVE AND VEHICLE ACTED FINE. WHILE DRIVING ON A WET THREE LANE HIGH WAY AT 50MPH THE CAR SHUT OFF ON ME. I MANAGED TO PULL OVER WITH MY EMERGENCY FALSHERS PUT IN PARK AND RESTARTED THE CAR. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HYUNDAI AZERA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AS THE CHECK ENGINE, NO KEY, AND BATTERY WARNING LAMPS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT HE WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AFTER SHIFTING INTO NEUTRAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN WAS NOT ABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 33,000.
