TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HONDA V6 COUPE. HE ADDED TRANSMISSION FLUID TO THE VEHICLE PERFORMING A REGULAR MAINTENANCE. AFTERWARD, WHILE DRIVING AT SPEEDS OF LESS THAN 50 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION WOULD SLIP BETWEEN FIRST AND SECOND GEARS WHILE TRAVELING AT SPEEDS OVER 40 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS HESITANT TO ACCELERATE AFTER 40 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THEY STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION FAILED AND NEEDED TO REPLACED. THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED AT THE OWNER'S EXPENSE. THERE WERE NO RECALLS FOR THE FAILURE AND THE MANUFACTURER WOU…

2001 HONDA ACCORD V6 SEDAN WITH APPROXIMATELY 26,000MILES (I DRIVE IT TO WORK AND GROCERY SHOPPING WITHIN A 10 MILE AREA.) WE WERE DRIVING AT ABOUT 20 MI PER HOUR BEHIND AN SUV THAT WAS BEHIND A GARBAGE TRUCK THAT WAS STOPPING AT EVERY CORNER. WHEN THE GARBAGE TRUCK STOPPED AS DID THE SUV THE NEXT TIME - WE WERE ALMOST 2 CAR LENGTHS BEHIND -MY HUSBAND PUT HIS FOOT ON THE BRAKE BUT THE CAR DID NOT STOP.
