Owner report 11610326 · 2024-08-22 (August 22, 2024)
My collision brake system goes off all the time at vehicles coming the opposite way on the road on two lane roads with no median strip I've taken to the dealership but they actually made it worse took back twice then contacted corporate Honda and they sent a tech. Out to this dealership he said alignment was off so they did that but it's still the same sometimes it will go off 3 times in a couple miles now rep says it's with in their guidelines and they are not going to do anything me and my wife don't want this truck if they won't repair

Owner report 11619917 · 2024-10-15 (October 15, 2024)
While traveling at the posted speed, the automatic emergency braking system applied the brakes without any vehicle in front of us. The speed limit on this particular road is 50 miles per hour. The braking was so sudden and applied with force that the vehicles traveling behind us had to apply their brakes to avoid a collision with us. This has happened before, but never with such force. The date I have given below is the most recent event. The issues have been reported to the dealer without resolution.

Owner report 11653319 · 2025-04-07 (April 7, 2025)
While sitting at a stop light at an extremely busy intersection, After pressing the Auto Idle Off button in trying to keep the air conditioner running, my vehicle just completely shut down like it had a completely dead battery. I couldn’t even turn on my hazard lights. The vehicle was completely dead. After pressing the on/off button several times, power to the vehicle was restored and I was able to restart the vehicle. It reminded me of when a computer glitches and reboots on its own. By happening at an extremely busy intersection, I felt…

Owner report 11706550 · 2025-12-22 (December 22, 2025)
Auto Start/Stop Malfunction. On two occasions the Auto start/stop has shut the engine off at a stop light and after releasing the brake the vehicle went completely dead. Dashboard/radio and all electronics dead. After multiple attempts the vehicle finally restarted. Now the normal start is sluggish like a low battery. Battery was replaced under warranty and check out multiple times by the dealership with them not able to find any issues.

Owner report 11623766 · 2024-11-06 (November 6, 2024)
4 times since I owned the truck it has stalled at traffic lights. The dashboard tells me there is an issue and tells me go in park. Then put my foot on the brake and start it normally. It does not restart. After 20 clicks twice it restarted only after I exited the vehicle, locked the door and reentered the vehicle. One time I was left at the light for an hour waiting for a tow truck. A police office tried to start it, and he put his foot on the gas. Eventually it started. The truck has less than 1,500 miles on it. The dealerships that hav…

Owner report 11651435 · 2025-03-29 (March 29, 2025)
The automatic engine stop/start system is a safety hazard. On multiple occasions with two different drivers (husband and wife owners), the engine has stopped just as the accelerator is pressed after waiting for traffic to clear at a stop sign or while waiting to enter a street from a driveway or parking lot. The delay when expecting the vehicle to accelerate has nearly caused accident(s) several times. Drivers are forced to switch off the automatic stop/start system every time the vehicle is driven since it defaults to active and it is not s…

Owner report 11606924 · 2024-08-06 (August 6, 2024)
The vehicle went into neutral while I was driving at 40 mph. It then started showing errors on the gauge cluster. It said something about do not drive vehicle, transmission issue, see dealer. I took it to the dealer and all they did was clear the codes and give it back to me. I'm not comfortable with this since I was stopped in the middle of traffic on a 5 lane road at rush hour. It was very unsafe and I'm afraid it may happen again.

Owner report 11704975 · 2025-12-14 (December 14, 2025)
The vehicle’s engine and powertrain management system repeatedly fails with multiple DTC's triggering a full-system cascade of safety-critical warnings and automatic power-limiting. The issue affects the engine, transmission, emissions, AWD, brake system, stability assist, steering assist, ABS/VSA, hill-start assist. The vehicle is fully available for inspection upon request. During each failure, the vehicle abruptly enters reduced-power “limp mode” without warning, resulting in loss of engine power, disabled AWD, and disables all safety/stabil…

Owner report 11717628 · 2026-02-12 (February 12, 2026)
My Honda CMBS system has false warnings from cars coming from the other lane and road markers setting off the system. I had numerous incidents where the steering wheel shakes and a brake warning illuminates with no possibility of an accident. After this warning the car would automatically brake to stop you. I have taken this vehicle to the dealer twice they said it is perfect. Honda knows this system is defective. In the owners manual they describe all the false warnings. I have experienced every one in the manual. I have begged the dealer and …

Owner report 11640516 · 2025-02-03 (February 3, 2025)
Gasoline fumes originating from engine compartment and entering the cabin of vehicle via HVAC. Fumes are thick enough to cause eyes to water, mild respiratory distress (coughing) and clothing to smell of gasoline after exiting the vehicle. Concerns exist about possible fuel leak given how dense the fumes are. Multiple users on social media report similar issues of gasoline fumes from the motor coming into the cabin via HVAC system across the Honda lineup, but mainly users with the 3.5 liter v6 motor. Some point to leaking fuel lines. Of t…
