2019 HONDA AFRICA TWIN ADVENTURE SPORTS. POOR RUNNING CONDITIONS DUE TO CONTAMINATION IN THE TANK. THE VEHICLE WOULD SUDDENLY AND UNEXPECTEDLY LOSE POWER AND/OR STALL. THIS HAS RESULTED IN DANGEROUS CONDITIONS BECAUSE IT USUALLY HAPPENS IN TIMES OF ACCELERATION WHEN PASSING. ONE PARTICULARLY UNSAFE INCIDENT HAPPENED WHEN I HAD CROSSED THE DOUBLE YELLOW TO ATTEMPT A PASS AND THE VEHICLE LOST POWER RATHER THAN ACCELERATE. I ALSO HAD IT STALL AND DIE WHILE TRYING TO CLEAR AN INTERSECTION. I HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT THIS IS AN ISSUE THAT CAN RESULT …

THE BIKE STARTS STALLING WHILE IT IS ON THROTTLE. FURTHER INVESTIGATION LEADS TO FINDING THAT SOME UNKOWN RESIDUE FALLS APART FROM WITHIN THE FUEL TANK WELDING CLOGGING THE FUEL PUMP FILTER. I HAVE FOUND PLENTY OTHER RIDER WITH THE EXACT SAME ISSUE.

RIDING TWO UP, PULLED OUT INTO HIGHWAY TRAFFIC AND MOTOR CUT OUT. HAPPEN TWICE, ONE TIME ON THE FREEWAY WAS ACCELERATING TO THE SPEED LIMIT AND IT CUT OUT VERY DANGEROUS PEOPLE BEHIND ME HAD TO HIT THE BRAKES SO THEY WOULD NOT REAR END ME. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER IMMEDIATELY IN TUCSON ARIZONA.
