TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 HONDA CB300F. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V528000 (ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING). THE PART TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 990.

"2016 HONDA CBR 300 RECALL" I BOUGHT A 2016 HONDA CBR 300 ABS MOTORCYCLE BRAND NEW WITH 2 MILES ON THE MOTORCYCLE ON AUGUST 8, 2017. ON AUGUST 12, 2017 I DECIDED TO RIDE MY MOTORCYCLE TO ANTIOCH AND UPON RETURNING HOME FROM ANTIOCH, THE MOTORCYCLE CUT OFF, WHILE I WAS IN A TURN. THE BIKE DIED AND CAUSED ME TO SKID ON MY LEFT SIDE, SLAMMING INTO THE GRAVEL, AND SLIDING 15 YARDS ON MY SHOULDER AS WELL AS HEAD.
