TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HOLIDAY RAMBLER NEPTUNE. WHILE DRIVING 45-50 MPH, THE CONTACT DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL AND SMELLED A BURNING ODOR. HE DROVE FIVE MORE MILES AND NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE WHEEL. THE REAR BRAKES LOCKED. THE VEHICLE WAS JACKED UP FOR APPROXIMATELY AN HOUR UNTIL IT COOLED OFF. A TRAILER REPAIR PERSON STATED THAT THE CALIPERS HAD TO BE REPLACED ALONG WITH OTHER COMPONENTS LISTED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 02V278000 (SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC: FOUNDATION COMPONENTS). TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2003 HOLIDAY RAMBLER NEPTUNE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE EXHAUST PIPE FELL FROM THE TURBO CLAMP, WHICH CAUSED THE HANGER TO FAIL. THE FAILURE DAMAGED THE WIRING AND THE STORAGE UNIT. THE MANUFACTURER APOLOGIZED FOR THE FAILURE, BUT WOULD NOT ASSIST BECAUSE THE WARRANTY WAS EXPIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT IT WAS A FIRE HAZARD. THE VEHICLE WAS UNABLE TO BE DRIVEN. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 34,063 UPDATED 02/10/09. *LJ THE EXHAUST PIPE FELL OUT OF THE TURBO CLAMP AND CAUSED THE HANGAR TO FAIL, DAMAGING …
