Owner report 11123946 · 2018-09-01 (September 1, 2018)

THE REAR BRAKE SYSTEM LOCKED UP AND THE WHOLE SYSTEM HAD TO BE REPLACED. ONE YEAR LATER 2017 I WAS ON MY WAY HOME FROM STURGIS AND I WAS HAVING ISSUES WITH THE FUEL SYSTEM AND CLUTCH. BROUGHT IT TO A DEALERSHIP IN DENVER, CO. WHEN THEY TOOK IT FOR A TEST RIDE, IT WAS BROUGHT BACK IN THE BED OF A TRUCK WITH THE REAR BRAKE SYSTEM LOCKED UP AGAIN!

THE ROTOR WARPED FROM THE EXTREME HEAT AND THE BRAND NEW BRAKE PADS WERE NON EXISTENT. I WAS ABLE TO MANEUVER THE BIKE OUT OF TRAFFIC BUT IT TOOK A LOT OF WORK TO DO IT. I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THE WHOLE REAR BRAKE SYSTEM. THE SECOND TIME HAPPENED TO A HARLEY DAVIDSON TECH THAT WAS TEST RIDING MY BIKE FOR A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT REASON. THEY HAD TO BRING MY BIKE BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP WITH A TOW TRUCK…
