Owner report 10957002 · 2017-02-26 (February 26, 2017)
REAR BRAKE PEDAL GOES DOWN WITH NO STOPPING. LINKED REAR AND FRONT BRAKES. FRONT BRAKE LEVER STOPS FINE. THIS HAPPENED 2-17-2017 WITH 132 MILES ON THE TRIKE. HAPPENED STATIONARY, IN MOTION AND ON CITY STREETS. PUMPING PEDAL HAD NO EFFECT. PICKED UP BY DEALER SAID THAT THEY BLED THE BRAKES. BRAKES FIXED. THERE IS A RECALL FOR THE REAR MASTER CYLINDER ON SOME OF THE 2015 TRI GLIDE TRIKES. POSSIBLY USING THE SAME DEFECTIVE REAR MASTER CYLINDER. WILL SEE IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN.

THE VEHICLE HAD APPROX 1200 MILES ON ODOMETER. I TOOK IT TO DEALER FOR 1K MILE SERVICE. THEY CALLED BACK AND ADVISED ME OF A PROBLEM, I ASKED WHAT KIND, THEY ADVISED TEETH MISSING OFF OF DRIVE BELT, I ASKED HOW MANY , THEY REPLIED MORE THAN 20.. I HAD PREVIOUSLY NOTICED SLIGHT JERKING WHEN RELEASING CLUTCH AND GETTING UNDERWAY, BUT BLAMED IT ON OPERATOR ERROR.. THE AMOUNT OF TEETH MISSING COULD HAVE LED TO A CATASTROPHIC LOSS OF POWER. DON'T KNOW IF THE DRIVE BELT WAS DEFECTIVE, IT IS BEING REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY. POSSIBLE CAUSE COULD BE REL…
