Owner report 10608599 · 2014-07-07 (July 7, 2014)

I HAD A FRONT END COLLISION AT 25 MPH WITH A PARKED CAR. MY AIRBAG(S) DID NOT DEPLOY. THE ENTIRE FRONT END OF MY CAR WAS DESTROYED. THE HOOD WAS CRUMPLED AND BOTH FRONT QUARTER PANELS DAMAGED. THE FRONT DOORS ARE NOT EASILY OPENED DUE TO THE QUARTER PANEL DAMAGE. IT IS HARD FOR ME TO UNDERSTAND HOW AN IMPACT AT THE SPEED I WAS TRAVELING AND THE LOCATION OF IMPACT DID NOT CAUSE THE AIRBAG(S) TO DEPLOY. I HAD TO BE TRANSPORTED VIA AMBULANCE FROM THE SCENE AND SUFFERED A CONCUSSION FROM MY HEAD SLAMMING DOWN ON THE STEERING WHEEL. *JS

DASHBOARD HAS TWO CRACKS. ONE IS BY THE PASSENGER AIRBAG AND THE OTHER IS ABOVE THE STEERING COLUMN. THE ONE ABOVE THE STEERING COLUMN IS BECOMING WORSE AS TIME PROGRESSES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT IN MOTION WHEN I NOTICED THE CRACKS.

Owner report 11490343 · 2022-10-21 (October 21, 2022)

State Farm is investigating the accident to see what, if anything, malfunctioned in my braking system. I ran a red light but when I pressed the brake upon approach of the red light my brakes didn't catch and so when I pressed them, I kept going at the same speed. I was going between 30 and 40 miles per hour I believe. Three cars were involved. I have a sore neck, chest, and burn marks in my neck region. I suspect my truck will be totalled. We performed routine maintenance on the vehicle. It had a little over 100K miles on it at the time of th…

Owner report 11563740 · 2024-01-05 (January 5, 2024)

While driving, the vehicle display screen and lights start turning off and on. The warning lamp says " service trailer brake system" and the vehicle is unable to accelerate at all. Leaving me at a stand still in the middle of the road. It's a safely hazard because it happens suddenly and without warning and I am unable to move my vehicle so I'm just in the middle of the road. I haven't taken it in to the dealership yet. I looked online and there is a recall called " chassis electronic control module internal contamination" that meets the de…

Owner report 11568466 · 2024-01-29 (January 29, 2024)

Rear Lower control mounts completely rusted out allowing the rear to move back and the driveshaft to come out of the transmission. Fortunately, this happened 1 block from home at a stop sign, if it occurred on a highway, it would have caused a major accident and likely injuries. Complete frame is rusted to the point of failure, heard from others that this has happened to other makes of GM products, Tahoe, Chevy pickup trucks. They likely all share the same frame.
