THE INVOLVED VEHICLES MAY NOT COMPLY WITH FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 121, "AIR BRAKE SYSTEMS". THE TRAILER BRAKE CONTROL AIR LINE WAS CONNECTED TO THE FRONT BRAKE DOUBLE CHECK VALVE RATHER THAN THE STOP LAMP SWITCH DOUBLE CHECK VALVE, SUCH THAT IN THE EVENT OF A FAILURE OF THE TRUCK FRONT BRAKE SYSTEM THE TRAILER BRAKES CANNOT BE APPLIED USING THE SERVICE BRAKE CONTROL (TREADLE VALVE).

Remedy: DEALER WILL INSPECT AND CONNECT THE BRAKE CONTROL AIR LINE TO THE PROPER VALVE, WITHOUT CHARGE TO OWNER.

THE INVOLVED ENGINE FAN ASSEMBLIES MAY BE OF INADEQUATE DURABILITY. CONSEQUENTLY, THE FAN SPIDER MAY WEAR OVER A PEROID OF TIME AND BREAK AT THE HUB WITHOUT WARNING, WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING.

Remedy: DEALER WILL REPLACE THE SUSPECT ENGINE FAN ASSEMBLY, WITHOUT CHARGE.
