SOLDER JOINTS NEAR THE WIRING HARNESS CONNECTOR CAN CRACK CAUSING THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS TO WORK INTERMITTENTLY. CONSUMER STATED HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. HOWEVER THIS VEHICLE WAS NOT RECALLED DUE TO THE VIN. *AK

NHTSA RECALL 98V150001/ CONCERNING WINDSHIELD WIPER WIRING. VEHICLE EXPERIENCED WINDSHIELD WIPER PROBLEMS. WHEN THE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARE ON THEY WILL NOT GO OFF, AND CONSUMER MUST PLAY WITH THE WIPER SWITCH FOR A WHILE BEFORE THEY WILL TURN OFF. SOMETIMES WHEN TURNING THEM ON THEY WILL NOT OPERATE. CONSUMER JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE, AND PROVIDED THE VIN TO THE MANUFACTURER, WHO WAS TELLING CONSUMER THE RECALL WAS OUT DATED, AND WANTED CONSUMER TO PAY OUT OF POCKET, AND MAYBE REIMBURSED. *AK

THE TRANSMISSION HAS SLIPPED AND SHIFTED HARD SINCE PURCHASE, I RETURNED IT TO THE DEALER ON SEVERAL OCCASSIONS WITH REPORT OF " UNABLE TO FIND PROBLEM" THE BRAKES PADS HAVE BEEN REPLACED 5 DIFFERENT TIMES THE ROTORS 1 TIME. WEEKS AFTER PURCHASE I HAD TO TAKE IT BACK DUE TO THE FRONTEND SHIMMYING WHEN APPLYING THE BRAKES IT WAS FOUND THAT THE ROTORS WHERE OUT OF ROUND. I HAVE HAD EXCESSIVE WEAR OF PADS I WAS TOLD (NOT BY THE DEALER) THAT THE CALIPERS WHERE STICKING . THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS STOP WORKING OCCASIONALLY.
