TL* THE CONTACT OWNS 2008 GMC SIERRA 3500. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE EXHIBITED LOW ENGINE POWER WITH AN ILLUMINATION OF THE FUEL FILTER WARNING INDICATOR ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE FAILURE RECURRED SIX TIMES. ON A SEPARATE OCCASION THE VEHICLE STALLED AND FAILED TO RESTART. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE FUEL FILTER WHICH HAD BE REPLACED SEVEN DIFFERENT TIMES BEFORE. THE REMEDY FAILED TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM. 2008 GMC SIERRA SLT UNDERCARRIAGE IS RUSTING AWAY ALONG WITH ANY COMPONENTS ROUTED ALONG UNDERCARRIAGE SUCH AS BRAKE LINES, FUEL LINES, ECT. VEHICLE HAS BEEN KEPT IN A GARAGE ITS ENTIRE LIFE. THIS CONDITION IS EXTREMELY UNSAFE AND NEEDS LOOKED AT BY GMC AND CHEVY. *TR

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 GMC SIERRA 3500. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING IN REVERSE APPROXIMATELY 2 MPH, THE BACKUP INDICATORS WOULD NOT OPERATE. THE FAILURE OCCURRED SPORADIC. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER ON FIVE DIFFERENT TIMES FOR THE IDENTICAL FAILURE. THE TECHNICIAN INFORMED THAT THERE WAS NOT A REMEDY AND ADVISED THAT THE RECEIVER HITCH BE REMOVED FROM THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE MALFUNCTION.
