While towing the listed trailer (2023 Genesis Supreme 37CRXL 5th Wheel) on the freeway at approximately 55 MPH, traffic began to slow in front of me. I applied the brakes in my tow vehicle and noticed the brakes in the trailer were not effective and the trailer was pushing the truck. Thankfully a collision did not occur as I had left adequate space to stop the truck and trailer. Upon inspection of the brakes on all three axles of the trailer, I discovered the following.
