WHILE BACKING INTO A PARKING SPACE, IN A REST AREA, THE BRAKE LINE OF THE VEHICLE RUPTURED. THIS HAPPENED ON TWO OCCASIONS. THE FRAME OF THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN EXTENDED AND AT THE SIGHT OF THE EXTENSION, THE VEHICLE WAS SEVERELY RUSTING. IN JULY 2007 WE WERE IN JAMESTOWN, NY ON LOCAL ROADS DOING 40 MILES AN HOUR AND NOTICED THE BRAKES WERE DRAGGING AND COULD SMELL BURNING AND NOTICED THE FRONT RIGHT TIRE WAS LOOSING AIR PRESSURE ON THE MONITOR AND PULLED OVER. THE RIGHT FRONT BRAKE WAS LOCKED UP CAUSING THE TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR TO MELT AND TIRE TO LOOSE PRESSURE. THE LEFT FRONT WHEEL WAS ALSO HOT AND SMOKING. WE WERE TOWED TO A CHEVY TRUCK DEALER IN TOWN. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 FOUR WINDS WINDSPORT RV. WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH, THE RV STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE RV WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN TO VALDOSTA RV (7427 SONNY ROGERS MEMORIAL DR, HAHIRA, GA 31632, [phone removed]) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BATTERY CONTROL CENTER RELAY BECAME DISCONNECTED. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 FOUR WINDS WIND SPORT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER OF THE RV SMELLED WIRES BURNING. THE CONTACT LOOKED AT THE IOTA TRANSFER SWITCH AND NOTICED THAT THE FRONT PANEL HAD MELTED AND SAW FIRE IN THE ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY AREA.
