23V834000 · Exterior Lighting:Tail Lights
Reported: 2023-12-08 (December 8, 2023) · Model years: 2024
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 XLR Boost toy haulers. The taillights may be insufficiently reflective. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Consequence: Taillights that do not reflect enough light reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will install reflector stickers, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 15, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-642-0432. Forest River's number for this recall is 79-1711.
