I smelled gases coming from the RV and after days of troubleshooting I found that one of the batteries was boiling and putting out hazardous gases that were leaking in to the living space. Further troubleshooting revealed a boiling battery and the battery disconnect was incorrectly wired and would not disconnect the battery but provided constant power to the battery, this also caused constant charging causing catastrophic failure of the battery. The contact owns a 2024 Forest River Salem Towables. The contact stated that when the trailer was set up at an RV park, one of the leveler jacks failed to operate as intended. The contact stated that later, water had leaked from the shower and soaked the flooring in the trailer.
