Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Collins School Bus and 2025-2026 Trans Tech School Bus vehicles equipped with certain QRT-Deluxe and QRT-Max wheelchair restraints. The retractors may not lock, preventing the wheelchair from being properly secured.
Consequence: An unsecured wheelchair can move during transit, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the retractors as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 10, 2025. Owners may contact Forest River Bus customer service at 1-800-348-7440. Forest River Buses number for this recall is 51-2008.

Forest River bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Trans Tech school buses. The modified seating floor plan may exceed the the rear Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR). As such these vehicles fail to comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars."
Consequence: Overloading the rear axle may cause loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will modify the seating free of charge and provide a refund for lost seating capacity as necessary. Owner notification letters were mailed February 17, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River Bus customer service at 1-800-348-7440. Forest River Bus's number for this recall is 05-2015.
