IN ORDER TO STOP THE ACCELERATION, THE CONTACT HAD TO APPLY PRESSURE TO THE BRAKES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALERSHIP WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE REPAIRED. . THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 3,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 7,000.

EMERGENCY BRAKE FAILED COMPLETELY. EMERGENCY BRAKE ON THIS VEHICLE WOULD OCCASIONALLY FREEZE TO BRAKE DRUM WHILE PARKED IN WET, FREEZING CONDITIONS. THIS IS WITH THE EMERGENCY BRAKES FULLY RELEASED. NORMALLY, A SLIGHT APPLICATION OF POWER WOULD "POP" THE BRAKE FREE AND THEN OPERATE NORMALLY. The contact stated that due to the failure, the vehicle rolled backward after the vehicle was shifted into park while parked on an incline. The contact called the dealer and was informed that his vehicle was not included NHTSA Campaign Number: 10V202000 (Parking Brake). The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. 2010 FORD RANGER LST 4 CYLINDER. THERE IS A SEVER VIBRATION AT 2000 RPMS AND THE ENGINE RUNS ROUGH AT IDLE. 850 RPMS ON THE TACH. THE VIBRATION IS IN THE STEERING AND THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE TRUCK.
