TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 FORD RANGER. A SEVEN YEAR OLD ENTERED THE VEHICLE AND PLACED THE KEY INTO THE IGNITION; HOWEVER, HE WAS UNABLE TO SHIFT OUT OF GEAR OR PLACE HIS FOOT ON THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE VEHICLE ROLLED BACKWARDS ON TOP OF A THREE YEAR OLD CHILD. THE CHILD'S LEGS WERE BROKEN AND HIS SKULL WAS FRACTURED. THE TRUCK WAS RUNNING VERY ROUGH. FOUND CODES PO171 AND P2195 FOR O2 SENSOR STUCK LEAN AND BANK 1 LEAN. REPLACED B1S1 O2 SENSOR ALSO MASS AIR SENSOR. THIS TRUCK HAS ONLY 33,500 MILES DRIVEN. ALSO HAD TO RELINE FRONT DISC BRAKES ,REPLACE FRONT BRAKE ROTORS AND RELINE REAR BRAKES AND REPLACE BRAKE DRUMS. THIS TRUCK IS NOT DRIVEN HARD. SEEMS LIKE ALOT OF PROBLEMS FOR ONLY 33,500 MILES. *UTR

WHILE TRYING TO START MY 07 FORD RANGER IT LOST MOST OF ITS POWER ALL OF A SUDDEN. THE ONLY POWER I CAN GET IS ON AUXILIARY (TURNING THE KEY BACK) BUT EVEN THEN ALL I GET ARE WIPERS, DOME LIGHT AND RADIO. THEN WHEN I TURN THE KEY OFF THE FUSE BOXES MAKE A TICKING NOISE. AFTER TESTING ALL FUSES AND CONNECTIONS I FOUND THAT OUT OF 56 TOTAL FUSES (BOTH UNDER THE HOOD AND IN THE CAB) ALL THE FUSES WERE OK BUT 24 OF THE CONNECTIONS WEREN'T RECEIVING POWER. REAR ENDED A CAR NOT MY FAULT AT ABOUT 35 MILES PER HOUR AIR BAG ON MY 2007 FORD RANGER FAILED TO DEPLOY THIS WAS INJUNE 2008 TRUCK ONLY HAD 27000 MILES ON IT! Additionally, the air bag warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.
